The Bay Area's Boisset (bwah-say)
In France, Jean-CLAUDE Boisset started turning out fine Burgundies over 30 years ago. Today, in the USA, his son, Jean-CHARLES Boisset, turns out some pretty fine California wines, too. They wear such labels as Lyeth, Christophe, Joliesse and Wheeler. A good example is the latest Wheeler Sangiovese, created by the gifted Julia Iantosca, who has guided many a vintage since Ingrid and William Wheeler established their winery in 1970, 22 years before Boisset purchased it.

Postscript: Ladies, this is your wine. Not only did a lady make it, but the 13 ladies in my Ft. Mason wine class rated it 50% higher than did the men. So, you must try it.
