Simple, Stylish Recipes for the Home Chef

By Catherine Bell

Everyday Epicurean
Everyday Epicurean is a celebration of good, simple food. New Zealand chef Catherine Bell combines simplicity and sophistication in this mouthwatering collection of recipes that incorporates a variety of styles and cuisines.

Since 1993, Catherine Bell's popular "Gourmet on the Run" cooking classes at Auckland's Epicurean Workshop have introduced the home cook to food that is approachable, healthy, stylish, and easy to prepare. Everyday Epicurean is a collection of the very best fresh and fast dishes from the classes.

Recipes include:
Eggplant Caviar
Butternut, Carrot, and Cilantro Soup
Grilled Vegetable Lasagne
Leek and Goat Cheese Tart with Mushrooms
Ten-Minute Stroganoff
Lemon, Lime, and Poppyseed Trickle Cake

From appetizers (what Catherine Bell calls "Small Bites") to vegetables, from one-dish meals to desserts and puddings, Everyday Epicurean combines innovative ingredients with time-honored favorites and encourages the home cook to be more spontaneous and experimental with ingredients and pairings.

Inspired by the author's celebrated "Gourmet on the Run" cooking classes.

Includes over 140 fantastic and easy-to-prepare recipes, as well as gorgeous full-color photography.
