Colman Andrews is editor and a cofounder of Saveur. He is a recipient of the 1998 M.F.K. Fisher Distinguished Writing Award from the James Beard Foundation. He is the author of numerous cookbooks including Catalan Cuisine, Everything on the Table and the recently published Flavors of the Riviera. He has contributed food and wine articles to The Los Angles Times, Metropolitan Home, Travel & Leisure, Food & Wine, Bon Appetit, and many other publications. He lives in Connecticut.
Dorothy Kalins is editor-in-chief of Saveur and Garden Design magazines, a cofounder of Saveur and founding editor-in-chief of Metropolitan Home magazine. She is the author of two books and editor of The Garden Design Book. She received a James Beard Foundation Award for feature magazine reporting with recipes. Ms. Kalins lives in New York City.
Christopher Hirsheimer is executive editor and a cofounder of Saveur. She is an accomplished photographer as well. Her pictures have appeared in Saveur and several cookbooks, including Fried and True (to be published by Chronicle Books in February, 1999), License to Grill, and Emeril's Cajun Christmas. She lives in Pennsylvania.
