Jane Butel is the author of more than sixteen cookbooks on New Mexican and American Mexican cuisine. She is a contributor to the Los Angeles Times, Redbook, and National Geographic Traveler. In addition to managing the Jane Butel Southwestern Cooking School in Albuquerque, New Mexico, which Bon Appetit has called among "the best in the U.S.," she continually lectures and conducts cooking classes across the country.
