Cole Slaw with Horseradish Dressing
by Judy McCann, the Root Queen—this recipe took Second Place at the 1992 International Horseradish Festival.
- 3 cups finely shredded cabbage
- 1 large apple, sliced
- 3/4 cups dairy sour cream
- 2-3 tablespoons prepared horseradish
- salt and pepper to taste
Mix cabbage and apple together in a large bowl. Mix sour cream, horseradish, salt and pepper until well blended. Pour over cabbage and apple mix. Chill before serving.
