Cold weather beckons comfort foods to the table. On the sweet end of the list, chocolate is the undisputable champ. But on the savory side, potatoes make the most consoling, cheering and cozy of all dishes, especially when teamed with butter, cheese or cream (or for really depressed folks, all three. I've often wondered if Prozac was actually made from potatoes.)
