The margarita-like Flor de Jalisco is a nod to Simo's friend Sam Kershaw, a Scottish bartender who's obsessed with using jams and other fruit preserves as cocktail ingredients.
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
Add all of the remaining ingredients except the twist and shake well. Strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with the orange twist.
