This is rich! Demistasse size portions are advised.
This recipe brings out the characeteristics of the chocolate that you use. Try it with any good semi or bittersweet chocolate.
3 ounces Scharffen Berger 62% Semi Sweet Chocolate
3/4 cup boiling water
3/4 cup milk
Chop the chocolate into small pieces and place it in a small saucepan. Pour a little of the boiling water over the chocolate and stir until the chocolate is melted. Add the rest of the boiling water and the milk. Heat the mixture, whisking continuously, until it is hot but not boiling. Serve immediately or set aside and reheat before serving. Makes about 6 demitasses.
